Colored Rods & Frit
Glass Alchemy Boromax colored rods are 7 mm diameter and 20" long unless otherwise stated.
Some rods are listed as 4 mm diameter. The COE is 33 and Boromax may be combined with Simax and any
other glass
with a similar coefficient of thermal expansion. Glass Alchemy
uses the
ROY G BIV spectrum sequence to number its colors. R = red = 100
series.
O = Orange = 200 series, etc. Glass Alchemy Boromax Colored Rods
are sold
by the pound with a 1/4 pound minimum purchase per color.
Glass Alchemy Boromax frits
Glass Alchemy Boromax frits are also available. We stock Boromax Frit in four sizes (also called grades):
- Large Frit (25 grade)
- Medium Frit (38 Grade)
- Small Frit (70 Grade)
- Fine Frit (82 grade)
All Boromax frit comes in a 4 oz. jar.
