GlasClay Sculptural, Opaques and Opals

GlasClay is now available in Sculptural, Opaque and Opal colors. Use sculptural GlasClay to make high-relief, hollow or 3-dimensional art and jewelry pieces. As with all kilnworked glass, GlasClay can be fired at different temperatures to create different effects. (Fire at higher temperatures AFTER an initial firing between 1220 and 1240 degrees Farenheit.) After the initial firing, GlasClay can be re-fired many times and added to other GlasClay work or to other compatible glass objects. It can be used with sheet glass, frit and enamels.

GlasClay is offered in various sample packs as well as individual colors. Also available in Non-Sculptural colors for hand-shaped flatwork and panels--no cutting required.

GlasClay, is glass in a clay-like form. This exciting medium allows glass to be hand-shaped and formed three-dimensionally. Use GlasClay to create free-standing, hollow or solid objects; make beads, pendants, sculpture, or accents to incorporate into other glass work. To use, simply add water, knead a minute or two, form your piece, and kiln fire!

Each pack contains an assortment of six colors, 10-12 grams per color and complete instructions. Colors shown: Aqua Blue, Cobalt Blue, Emerald Green, Golden Amber, Lemon Chiffon, Vermillion.
