Deep Form Molds

3 steps to a deep and steep bowl

Start with the Ball Surface mold (BE 8738) as step I in the process. Deep Form, Step II mold (BE 8990) takes the wide, shallow bowl created with a Ball Surface mold to a more bell-shaped form. Then, with Deep Form, Step III (BE 8991) the bell-shaped form is transformed to a deep vessel with graceful, sloping proportions and a flat base.

Producing a deep bowl is a technically challenging process that will require trial and error for most people to achieve. Take some time to test and practice with a blank before creating your masterpiece. Have fun!

Bullseye Ceramic Slumping and Casting Molds

Slipcast from a specially formulated clay body, Bullseye molds have an exceptionally smooth surface, accept kilnwash uniformly, and do not crack under repeated usage.

Individual molds may vary slightly from dimensions shown, so Bullseye recommends taking dimensions for your slumping blank directly from your specific mold.
