Mixed Rods from Oceanside Glass & Tile

Mixed Rods from Oceanside Rod are sold by the bundle. Each bundle is 48 rods and weighs approximately 4 lbs. Each rod is approximately 6 mm in diameter and 20 in. in length. Mixes are not sold in partial bundles. 

OGT 96 Rods provide glassblowers and torchworkers stable color and smooth workability. For glassblowers, using OGT 96 machine made rods (aka cane) provides uniform color and dependable COE at less cost than hand pulling in the studio. World class blowers are increasingly choosing rods (cane) for lines or color layers.

For torchworkers, OGT 96 rods provide a dependable glass for all soft glass work, with the added benefit that finished pieces can then be incorporated into fused, cast, or blown work of 96 COE.

For fusers and casters, OGT 96 coe rods are a handy way to introduce a crisp linear element into your designs. Use them straight, or bend them to suit.

Individual Oceanside colored rods are also available in a variety of colors sold as each rod.

All Oceanside rods are fusible Oceanside Compatible products of 96 coe. Oceanside Compatible glass is compatible with existing, genuine Spectrum and Uroboros System 96 products.
