Use Pyrolite to glue loose element pins in place or secure drooping elements. Pyrolite, a refractory joint and patch compound, comes in a 10.3-ounce plastic tube that fits into a common caulk gun applicator.
Note: Use sparingly and only as a last resort to secure brick, elements or pins in place. Pyrolite will adhere to brick and may complicate future element replacement or other maintenance; carefully cut out the Pyrolite to minimize breakage and loss of firebrick.
