Celadon

96 COE extra-fine grind frit/powder. Celadon is a beautiful, color-intense soft celadon green opal. This color is lead-bearing and comes in a 4-oz. bag.

"Extra-fine" glass grind is slightly larger than a powder, but smaller than a fine frit. It is less likely to be sifted like a fine powder and more likely to be spoon-scooped or finger scattered like frit. If sifted, a slightly larger mesh opening than a standard enamel sifter is suggested.

This deeply-saturated and very opaque powder is especially well suited to frit casting. Color holds true with repeated and high firings and is opaque enough to cover over dark glass. Place it into the mold first, so after firing and de-molding, it reveals a rich color on the top of the glass. Fuse and anneal at temperatures normally used for 96 COE fused glass.
