Youghiogheny True Dichro

Youghiogheny "True Dichro" glass will change in color and opacity depending on the surrounding light. In reflected light, it will appear opaque. The glass comes alive in assorted shades of pinks, purples, blues and yellows with transmitted and natural light. Variation between sheets should be expected. Sheets size approximately 28"x18" (3.5 sq. ft.)

Youghiogheny Glass

Youghiogheny (Yock-a-gain-ee) Opalescent Glass Co manufacturers stipple and other types, and art glass in the tiffany tradition.

Tiffany Reproduction Glass Three- and four-color mixes use a base glass of specially formulated opal having a true white cast, surface hazing and the waxy quality normally associated with the glass made by Tiffany.

Oceana Glass manufactured by Youghiogheny

Oceana Glass mottles are soft with a delicate wispy background. Oceana’s dichromatic glass appears opalescent in reflected light and changes to brilliant swirls and mixes of fiery pinks, reds and yellows in transmitted light. The primary color is listed first on the two-color and three-color mottles. Additional colors indicate secondary colors streaked into the base glass. The 900 Series is a beautiful palette of dichromatic silver opal glasses. Originally, this glass was developed and used extensively by Tiffany Studios.

Ordering Information: Sheets are sold as each - not by the square foot. Each sheet is approximately 19" x 27" (48 x 67.5cm) or 3.56 ft2 (.32m2). Average sheet weight 5.5 lbs (2.475 kg).
