Youghiogheny Y96 Fusible Glass

Youghiogheny Glass has introduced a line of 96 COE compatible glass. According to the manufacturer, all testing has been done on currently available clear COE 96 glasses and Youghiogheny's own white opal. They have used standard COE 96 fusing schedules that are available online. Youghiogheny Y96 Glass is tested using both a dilatometer to measure actual COE and a polariscope to ensure the product meets the set standard. 

Notes:

• Sheets must strike to reach target color. Unfired sheets may appear somewhat translucent.
• For best results, cap opal colors with clear or apply a surface agent such as Spray A.
• Y96 Irids should be fired face down on kiln shelf paper at lower top temperatures
